About the Role
Key Responsibilities
Product Education: Develop a deep understanding of product features, benefits, and pricing to effectively address customer needs.
Lead Generation & Prospecting: Source new sales opportunities through outreach, networking, onsite vendor opportunities, and cold calling.
Customer Presentations: Conduct in-person, virtual, or phone consultations to demonstrate how products solve client problems.
Deal Closing: Negotiate pricing, handle objections, and finalize contracts or sales agreements.
Relationship Management: Maintain post-sale contact to ensure customer satisfaction, address complaints, and encourage repeat business.
Sales Tracking: Document sales activities, customer details, and pipeline metrics in a CRM system.
Typical Work Environments:
Business-to-Consumer (B2C): Retail storefronts, Networking Events, or Vendor opportunities.
Compensation Structure (Based on experience) : Range $50/hr - $75/hr base hourly rate and performance-based commissions, which is typically 5%-10%. Compensation for travel greater than a 50 mile radius.

Sales Representative Requirements
Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
Experience: Proven experience in product management, consulting, or a related role.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with product development processes and tools, as well as data analysis techniques.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to convey complex concepts clearly.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to assess product performance and market needs.
Project Management: Experience in managing projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring.
Customer Focus: Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into product requirements.
Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and sales.
Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and prioritize tasks effectively.
Knowledge of Industry Trends: Awareness of current trends and best practices in product management and the specific industry.
